CrudeAwakening

I joined CrudeAwakening Austin in Summer of 2007. Despite owning a killer domain name (crudeawakening.org) the group hadn't updated the website in over 2 years. Not taking advantage of such valuable web real estate was a mistake: without any updates, the site still generated over 40,000 hits a year! The redesign included implementing a tableless design, which meant recoding the HTML and CSS from the ground up, as the previous had been built using frontpage, and the style information was embedded in individual tags.
